Version deployed with a new hosting account
AdocSys deploys new hosting accounts with a version of PHP that is a balance of Stability, Compatibility and Features. Usually the latest or close to the latest version. We include by default, many modules so that you can deploy most applications without any issues. If a module you need is not available by default, please contact us and we can verify the possibility of adding it, as long as it does not affect the service of other clients or cause security issues.
Our hosting accounts use a dedicated PHP handler to ensure full isolation. The dedicated handler offers excellent performance while being isolated per website, meaning restarting the service after doing a change does not affect all websites at the same time, it only affects the website targeted for this specific change. It offers better control and security.
Officially supported versions
AdocSys will disable PHP versions and force an upgrade when a PHP version becomes unsupported. Security very important for us and we want to ensure that all of our clients stay secure to the best of our knowledge. This includes supported PHP versions. You can see the official list of supported PHP versions on the PHP website:

Hardened PHP versions
If you have an older application that you still need support for but uses an older, officially unsupported version of PHP, let us know and we can activate hardened versions of PHP on demand. We have a partnership with security specialists that patch security vulnerabilities on officially unsupported versions of PHP to help you have additional time to update your application or move to a new version safely.
If you have any questions regarding our PHP support, please contact us and we will help you out and add to this article any important information that could be useful to others.
